1,000 Words

It seems that all too often today, we watch the news or read the papers and perceive the world as a terrible, if not terrifying, place. In truth, though, the world is remarkably beautiful, and largely filled with love. Does every country, without exception, have its own set of flaws and challenges? Absolutely. Are some plagued with poverty or corruption, or still shadowed by historic turmoil? Sadly, yes. However, something great can be found in every corner of the world, and every country has something truly incredible to share, be it rich culture, magnificent wildlife, awe-inspiring scenery, or even the ability to preserve its spirit despite a heartbreaking past. What we hope we’ve been able to share over the last 11.5 months, is the genuine beauty of each country’s land and people. That said, we’ve selected one photo from each country we visited – 32 in total – that, to us, represents something extraordinarily special about each location.

They say a picture is worth a thousand words. For us, each of these photographs would probably require a short novel. We’ll keep it simple this time, though, and allow you guys to find your own beauty in each of the images…
